  • 5 Sterne: We stayed at Lothringer Hof for two nights in the fall of 2008. The room we stayed in was spacious by European standards and had a large bay of windows, providing plenty of sunlight. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with an assortment of meats, breads, cheeses, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, etc. (self-serve). I'm not sure if the staff speaks English, since I speak enough German to get by, and you do have to climb at least one flight of stairs to get up to the rooms (our room was on the third floor). We arrived a few hours early, so the room wasn't ready, but we were allowed to check in and they happily let us put our bags in the room. This worked perfectly for us since we had other plans and didn't need the room right away. All together, I would definitely stay here again. (On a side note, remember to bring soap and shampoo as most hotels will not provide these things. Lothringer Hof had body wash, but no shampoo.) - plus.google.com
