On my recent trip to Munich the elevation of my orthopedic shoe has separated and I was recommended to see Mr. Friedl by another shoemaker, who also made an unsuccessful attempt earlier to fix the problem. Mr. Friedl fixed it in less than an hour even though I was told before that it may take a day or two to do so. I could wait and watch the repair while Mr. Friedl also explained what was wrong, why the elevation separated on the first place. I verified on my other shoes, indeed all the ones I had problem with had that same "symptom". I should advice my regular workshop to take a lesson or two from Mr. Friedl ;-) Highly recommended!!! - plus.google.com
